Ray Chamberlin was standing proudly beside his Number 5 car at the finish line, smiling for photographs. Another great NASCAR race win for him! Ray-ray and his magic Number 5 were always a winner!
Once this initial victory fervor after the race waned (just a little, but not so anyone really noticed who had backed Ray and most of the crowd that day had), Ray-ray climbed back into Number 5 and led a victory convoy from the Daytona racetrack to his winery in Montgomery for an after-race party for his adoring fans.
Later, the blood moon indeed rose over Ray's winery as the victory celebration went on.
